Active Citezens_Chernihiv

“Active Citizens” is a leadership training programme of British Council that promotes intercultural dialogue and community-led social development..

The programme aims to bring about sustainable social change within communities by establishing a global network of leaders, involving youth organisations, which cause reforms in their communities. It provides knowledge and skills to help people build relations on the basis of equality and equal opportunity, respect for diversity, ability to conduct a dialogue without conflicts.

NGO “Chernihiv European” has joined the programme in April 2015. Within the project “Active Citіzens_Chernihiv” we conduct trainings according to the British Council programme, that give the opportunity to create and implement one’s own project of social action, aplying for financial support from British Council. Other diverse activities to enhance community social action are held as well.
